During this meeting, the Board outlined two phases of the search. In the first phase, the Board will hire a recruiting firm. In the second phase, the Board will work with the selected firm to interview candidates and make a hiring decision. Additional details are outlined below.
Phase One: Hire Recruiting Firm
On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, the Board will review and vote on a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that will provide details about this project and solicit bids. The RFP will be sent to executive recruitment firms and shared with the community by the end of the day on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Proposals will be due on Friday, January 22, 2021 and will be reviewed by an ad hoc committee with finalists being brought to the full Board for interviews and evaluation. Following the interviews, one recruitment firm will be selected to support the District’s search for a new Superintendent.
It is the Board’s goal to select, hire and begin working with the chosen recruitment firm in February 2021.
Phase Two: Interview Candidates and Make a Hiring Decision
The timeline for reviewing, interviewing and hiring a Superintendent will be determined upon selection of a search firm.
