Wauwatosa School District Hires Wauwatosa West High School Interim Head Football Coach

On Monday, July 11, 2022, the Wauwatosa School District Board of Education approved Superintendent Dr. Demond Means’ recommendation to appoint Mr. Ray Hubbard as Interim Head Football Coach at Wauwatosa West High School.  

“As our Varsity Offensive Coordinator, Coach Hubbard demonstrated excellent leadership, and he kept our program and our students focused this summer,” stated Mr. Corey Golla, Wauwatosa West Principal. ”He is a seasoned veteran that knows our students and has the support of the team and  coaching staff. I sincerely look forward to what he will accomplish with our student-athletes in the year ahead.”

Mr. Hubbard has served as the Wauwatosa West High School varsity offensive coordinator since July 2019. He has also held coaching positions at West Allis Central High School including Varsity Head Coach, Varsity Runningback Coach, Freshman Head Coach, and more. Mr. Hubbard was voted Parkland Conference Assistant Coach of the Year in 2020, and managed the third-ranked offense in the state of Wisconsin during the 2020-21 school year. He holds several certifications including NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS NCAA Eligibility Certification and NFHS First Aid, Health + Safety.
