Bill Anderson
  • As a member of the Wauwatosa School Districts Administrative team, I have had opportunity to serve in a number of roles during my 17 years as an administrator. I currently serve as one of the Administrators for the Wauwatosa County Programs. The five programs are, the Vel R. Phillips School, The Wauwatosa Virtual Public Charter School, The River Hills School Program at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Complex, and the Children's Hospital Program.

    I began my education career in Wauwatosa in 1996 as a High School Science Teachers at both East and West High Schools. In 1998 I taught 7th grade science at Longfellow Middle School for one year before taking a high school teaching position at Arrowhead Union High School located in Hartland Wisconsin. In August of 2002, I returned to the district as an Associate Principal at Wauwatosa East High School. In August of 2007 through 2011, I served as the Supervisor of Student Learning and in August 2012 was promoted to the position of Supervisor of Special Programming. In 2012-2016 I served as the Administrator for the Wauwatosa Montessori School and Summer School Programming. In the fall of 2016 I began serving as an Administrator for the County programs which include, Wauwatosa Virtual Academy, Vel R. Phillips School, River Hills School Program at Milwaukee County Behavioral Health, and Children's Hospital School Program. I have a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Secondary Education, a Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University and a PhD in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University.

    My mission is to continuously improve all of our programs and support the teachers and staff while serving 100% of our students. My motto is "Making a difference by bringing purpose to students' lives."
