Mrs. Nicole Nowicki
I have been teaching since 1995. I taught first grade for three years in MPS, before moving to middle school in Wauwatosa in 1998. I received my master's degree from UW-Milwaukee in 2004 with a reading license. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1995 with two degrees, elementary and middle school education. I don't just teach science... I try to "live it in HD"! -I survived a "28-day Survival Course" in South Africa (2011) -Volunteered with Alaska State Parks for 10 weeks (2010) -Jaguars, Mountain Lions & Carnivores in Brazil (2009) -Tagged & released sharks with Pelagic Shark Foundation (2009) -Interned with a conch survey & counting coral reef species in Eleuthera, Bahamas (2008) -Studied 3 cr Geology Course in Hawai'i, melting the toe of my shoe on Kileauea (2007) -Interned with the Pacific Whale Foundation in Australia tracking and identifying humbpack whales (2007) -Interned with Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia (2006) -Studied 3 cr Water and Geology course in Hawai'i (2006) I am married to a brilliant man that I met in Alaska, and have two daughters.
