    East High's Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) creates a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their straight allies to discuss the struggles they face in their day-to-day lives, provides them with the personal support and validation they need, engages in activities that raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ issues in their school and community, and advocates for the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals.
