Wauwatosa School District Alumni

  • The Wauwatosa School district has a rich history, which is reflected in our schools. Wauwatosa High School was established in 1876 and became Wauwatosa East High School prior to the 1961-62 school year. The current East building was built in 1928.

As the city of Wauwatosa grew, with the annexation of the western portions of the city in 1954, Wauwatosa West High School opened in 1961 and the current high school building was opened in 1970.

Thousands of students have graduated from these schools. Each year various alumni classes ask to tour East and West as a part of their reunions. Today, Wauwatosa families who attend football games or theater productions often notice the large number of alumni who return for those events on a regular basis.

The alumni web page includes information about each high school. The site will provide information and enable alumni to link to the Wall of Inspiration at East as well as the West Scholarship Foundation.

The Wauwatosa School District values its alumni and is happy to share reunion information on our Alumni social media pages and here on the Alumni page of our District website.

If you have any questions or have reunion information to share, please contact the District offices at (414) 773-1000.
