Mrs. Amy Mudlaff
My name is Amy Mudlaff and I am excited to have joined Eisenhower Elementary as a 2nd Grade teacher. I bring with me 20 years of experience teaching in both public and parochial schools.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned my Masters of Education at the University of DePaul in Chicago. Not sure which of my alma-maters to root for on game day, I decided to add a third when I earned a reading license from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
I have three children, and very little free time. But if I find myself with a few hours, I like to head into the woods to hike and explore. Foraging intrigues me, and I spend a lot of time looking for edible mushrooms.
I want my students to love school! Where else do you get to hang out with a classroom full of friends having amazing learning adventures? I am passionate about building relationships with my students and creating individualized learning experiences for each of them.
Some other things to know about me….
... I eat popcorn (with a great deal of butter and salt) every single night.
... I wear my socks inside out because the seams drive me crazy.
... I always wear socks and shoes as I can't stand wet feet.
... I love to teach math and science.
... I can still do a cartwheel and can complete over 30 push-ups in one go.
... If you are one of my students, you are considered one of my kids - for life!
