Ms. Kristina Howard

Hello!  I was born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin as the youngest of 4 children.  After high school I attended the Universtiy of Wisconsin - La Crosse where I studied economics and photography.  After getting my degree, I traveled to South America then entered the work force in Milwaukee using my business degree.  After a few years I decided to pursue my passion and attended Cardinal Stritch University to receive my teaching certification.  

I taught in MPS for two years before joining the team at Madison Elementary in 2016.  I cannot imagine doing anything else!  Teaching is rewarding, exciting, and challenging.  I believe in fostering a community of learners built on mutual respect and acceptance.  My goal is always to create a fun and safe learning environment for children to get them ready for 4th grade and life!

In a nutshell, I love reading, running, photography, animals, and spending time with friends and family.  I am passionate about teaching and love the amazing interactions with children i get every day!
