I have been teaching in the field of special education for over 20 years. Much of my experience has been at the high school level, but I have been at Underwood Elementary the last 3 years. I have a degree in elementary/middle school education from Mount Mary College, a certification to teach PK-12 special education from UW-Whitewater, and a master’s degree from UW-Milwaukee in the area of administrative leadership. A quote I love to share about my belief teachers can have a great impact is "I want to paint windows all over the earth to let all eyes accustomed to darkness, grow accustomed to light."  -- Gu Cheng.
