Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Hannah Fuhrman

I have been a teacher at Eisenhower Elementary since 2014. I have learned so much during my time at Eisenhower and am energized to see what new things I learn from the students each year!

The students at our school and I already have something in common- we both went to school in the Wauwatosa School District! I attended McKinley Elementary, Longfellow Middle school for one year, Whitman Middle School for two years, and graduated from Wauwatosa West High School. Before returning to my home district, I attended Luther College in Decorah, IA and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a reading emphasis.

My teaching style is very interactive and I enjoy helping students to make connections and ask deeper questions to make their learning more meaningful. I am a firm believer in seeing a mistake as a valuable learning experience and work with each child to help them reach their highest potential. I love fourth grade and hope to pass my love of learning on to my students!

Outside of school, I enjoy roaming the trails of the surrounding area with my family and friends, reading, exploring the city with my camera, and planning my next big trip. I love to travel and was even fortunate enough to teach for a couple of months in Edinburgh, Scotland, during college! I am always on the lookout for new places to discover and learn about.
