Wauwatosa West High School is a comprehensive four-year high school conveniently located just off of Mayfair Road with quick access to US Hwy. 45.
We are within walking distance of Eisenhower Elementary and Whitman Middle School, both of which feed into West High School. Our high school is a campus-style school with all of our athletic facilities on-site, including a recently renovated football stadium, track, and tennis courts.
Built in 1960, our school is the newest facility in the District. We have modern physical education facilities including a rock wall, ropes courses, modern fitness center and a swimming pool.
We offer four world language courses, an award-winning arts program with band, choir, orchestra, and theatre, and have a robust Academic and Career Planning team and Resource Center to ensure our students are college and career ready when they leave our doors.
Additionally, we have an abundant co-curricular program featuring 22 sports teams - 11 boys and 11 girls - as well as numerous music and drama activities, and academic competitions. In all, more than 25 clubs and organizations are available. You can read more about these opportunities under the "Activities" tab in the main navigation bar.
