Eisenhower School Profile
-
Eisenhower is a collaborative community where all members contribute to creating a physically and emotionally safe environment that respects and values individual differences, a balance in life including health and wellness, and a high standard of excellence.
Located on the West side of Wauwatosa, we are neighbors of Whitman Middle School and Wauwatosa West High School, which our school feeds into.
Eisenhower was built in 1967 and is one of the District's "newer" elementary schools. The building is a bright, one-story building and we enjoy an outdoor learning courtyard.
In the 2016-2017 school year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction recognized Eisenhower as a Bronze Level Wisconsin RtI Recognized School for our work to create a culturally responsive, multi-level system of support to meet the needs of ALL students.
Mission:
Eisenhower's mission is to foster an environment where all students are affirmed, and experience an education where they can thrive academically and socially-emotionally as empowered learners. Eisenhower strives to accomplish this by deepening collaboration and continuous learning amongst all staff and our community.
Vision:
To ensure every child is seen, heard, and valued, Eisenhower will aim to exemplify a student-centered learning community that stands for high expectations and inclusive practices.
